WINE NOTESWINEMAKER NOTES
Cashmere Black is a blend of grapes made from ancient vines. Notes of dark berries, chocolate, hints of black pepper, and plum will captivate your palate. VINEYARDS
The primary source of the grapes for Cashmere Black are from vineyards in Contra Costa County. It's warm and sunny climate, coupled with deep, sandy-soil and limited water, create grapes of great flavor intensity and dark color. This bold wine is a blend of Petite Sirah, Zinfandel, Carignane, and Mourvedre. Petite Sirah and Zinfandel add tannin structure, and a nice black pepper note, while the Carignane and Mourvedre add luscious dark plum and balanced acidity. ![]()
